The stunning color range of Topaz can go from neutral to dazzling in the blink of an eye. The ancients prized Topaz as a stone of divine majesty. It was believed to dispel enchantments, detect poisons - even render the wearer invisible at will. Precious Topaz was revered by the Eqyptians and Romans, who associated it with the setting sun.
Topaz is rated "good" for everyday wear. Avoid direct sunlight and exposure to heat which may cause color to fade. Avoid contact with chemicals. To clean, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush and a solution of mild dish soap and warm water.
